  1. Spring Break Fun! at the Library: Writing Workshop (7-8)

    March 16, 2017, 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM @ Watauga Public Library

    Explore Horizons: Tutoring and Enrichment Center of Alliance will be offering an hour long, fun-filled, Story Writing Workshop at the Watauga Public Library for students in grades 7-8. The workshops will focus on developing writing techniques to prepare the children to write a story of their own and show them how fun writing can be! Call or stop by the Youth Services desk any time after March 1, to sign up. Pre-registration is required. The workshops are limited to 15 participants per session. All supplies will be furnished.

  2. Science Corner: Simple Circuits

    The start of Watauga Public Library's new Tech Program! Join Samantha and learn about simple circuitry, the basis for all the electronics we use. We'll be making light-up cards and a bookmark! This is a free make-and-take activity for ages 10 and up. Registration is required: 12 seats per class. Sign up at the Youth Desk.

  5. Pokemon Trivia Night

    What is a Trivia Night? During trivia nights, a master of ceremonies reads questions to small teams. Each team works to answer questions that are divided into rounds or categories. Teams compete against each other for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. People can sign up alone or in teams. This event is best for tweens/teens, adults, or families who will play together in a team. RSVP required
