The Watauga Police Department Command Staff is comprised of the Chief of Police, the Assistant Chief of Police, and Two Lieutenants.
Chief of Police - Glen Fowler Chief Fowler was sworn in as the Chief of Police for the City of Watauga Police Department on December 1, 2014. Chief Fowler comes to Watauga with over 33 tears of experience in Law Enforcement. Chief Fowler oversees all operations within the Watauga Police Department.
Assistant Chief - Robert Parker
Chief Parker is responsible for reviewing and monitoring all police department personnel including officers, support services, and administrative staff. He also prepares and oversees the departmental budget and reviews proposals and makes necessary recommendations as to the courses of action to the City Manager and City Council. Chief Parker has over 21 years of experience in Law Enforcement.
Administrative Lieutenant - Rande Benjamin Lieutenant Benjamin has over 31 years experience in Law Enforcement. He is currently over the administrative section of the Watauga Police Department and oversees: Animal Control, Records, Warrant Officers, Chaplain Program, School Resource Officer, Recognition Program, and Community Services.
Operations Lieutenant - Keith Hartman
Lieutenant Hartman has over 17 years experience in Law Enforcement. He is currently assigned to overseethe Operations section of the Watauga Police Department, he is responsible for: Patrol, CriminalInvestigations, Traffic, and K9.
