HOME Investment Partnership Program
Tarrant County offers a housing repair program for Tarrant County residents living outside the boundaries of the Cities of Fort Worth, Arlington and Grand Prairie. The Program is funded through the Community Development Block Grant Program and the HOME Investment Partnership Program.
The Program is designed to assist residents who are 80% below the Area Median Income limit with repairs to their home such as roof, foundation, plumbing, electrical and weatherization repairs. The program has specific requirements which must be met in order to qualify, including having an annual income below the HUD established income limits, home ownership for at least one year, have no more than two liens against the property and be either handicapped, disabled, 62 years of age or older or a family with dependent children living at home.
Watauga Improving Neighborhoods Program (WIN)
The Watauga Improving Neighborhoods (WIN) Program is intended to help Watauga residents in need to perform important property maintenance in partnership with the World Changers Organization, 6 Stones Organization and other volunteer organizations. World Changers is a nationwide organization through Lifeway that coordinates volunteers to help local communities revitalize residential areas. 6 Stones is a local organization that coordinates volunteers to help local communities revitalize residential areas.
