Council Place 7

Bob Davis was elected to Place 7 on the Watauga City Council on May 12, 2012 and re-elected in May 2014 and 2016; he served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2014 and 2015.  Prior to being elected to Place 7, he was elected in May 2010 to Place 1 on the Watauga City Council.  
Before being elected to office, he served as the Vice-Chairperson on the Architectural Review Commission. At the same time, he served as an Alternate on the Zoning Board of Adjustment. He has successfully completed both the Watauga Citizens Police Academy and Hurst Citizens Police Academy.

Bob and his wife Eva have lived in Watauga since 2001. They have six children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Before retirement, Bob was a Remodeling Contractor working throughout the Mid-Cities. He still keeps busy doing minor repairs for senior citizens. He and his wife are actively involved as Missionaries for the North American Mission Board, Santa USA, and Mission Central of Hurst.
