Overview


The WIN Committee was created on April 28, 2014. The Committee shall have the following powers and duties:

(a) Review and select projects and programs that are identified by the City Council and City staff that will assist the City with economic development through the use of property maintenance and neighborhood revitalization initiatives designed to maintain residential property values in the City.

(b) Review and select residential properties in the City that qualify for property maintenance and neighborhood revitalization programs and initiatives based upon eligibility criteria established by the WIN Committee.

(c) Review and select volunteer organizations that will provide residential property maintenance and neighborhood revitalization programs in the City.

(d) Monitor residential property maintenance and neighborhood revitalization programs in the City to ensure that volunteer organizations complete the projects in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts between the City and the volunteer organizations.

(e) Monitor the use of municipal funds in support of residential property maintenance and neighborhood revitalization programs. Ensure that municipal funds are utilized only for municipal purposes and that unused materials that are purchased with municipal funds are returned to the City.
